About Us

Rosengard Haven has been in the family for over 65 years, owned by our grandfather, KR Barkman of Kleefeld, MB.  It was a working gravel pit for many years until its resources were depleted.  Bruce and Wilma decided to rehab and develop the pit,  beginning with a couple ponds for geese and ducks.  Through the years, bridges and trails were added as well as a beautiful picnic shelter and fire pit area.  The Haven also has a sand volleyball court, play areas and boasts many beautiful flower and shrub gardens throughout.  What started as a small part time hobby  turned into a years long passion being the Haven it is today!  This has become a venue for many weddings, family gatherings, birthday parties and photo shoots.
